Our firm's primary activities involve filing and prosecuting U.S. patent and trademark applications, in addition to providing a full range of foreign patent and trademark services.  We currently have over 600 U.S. and foreign patents and patent applications under management.  Additionally, we currently manage over 100 U.S. and foreign trademark applications and registrations.

We have substantial experience with complex patent infringement and validity analyses and intellectual property portfolio evaluations. We provide counsel relating to trade secrets and confidentiality, and we negotiate, draft and interpret various types of licensing agreements and contracts. We have experience in resolving disputes and advising litigators in complex patent and intellectual property lawsuits.

Our client base is composed of small and medium-sized public and private companies and research institutions. We have specialized expertise in handling patents and patent applications relating to inventions in the area of biotechnology and biomedical devices and systems, although our practice also incorporates more generalized high technology, materials science, materials processing and mechanical subject matter. We are actively involved in formulating and implementing intellectual property strategies that advance our clients’ commercial objectives.
